Jopet Papa started his AMA gang in his time in Elementary School. Gang-wars, drug-pushing, drinking-sprees were part of his lifestyle. When Pastor Bobot Almasco approached him and his members he reacted allergic against this interference. He did not want that his member become soft through religion. He even let his members get the young son of the pastor to be more effective in scaring him off. But after seeing the change in one of his members he started to open up.
Pastor Bobot invited him to a youth retreat (disguised as a beach party) at the YWAM Center in Puerto Princesa under the leadership of Missionary Pastor Felix Dexel. During these days Jopet and several of his members entrusted their life to Jesus Christ and began their journey of following Jesus. Today Jopet is part of the leadership of Acts Family Church. His life is truly transformed.
