Keith Christmas at Hull Adelphi Club. Keith started his musical career in the late 1960's releasing his first Lp in 1969. He played the 70s Festival scence and Polytechnic circuit. His style then on the early lps was reminiscent of John Martyn, Nick Drake etc, but his Lps were his own and distinctive. Well worth checking out. After some time in the Staes he eventually gave up music for some tears, returning sporadicaly. He ( ahem) reformed a few years back with a new style and direction. Now moving his guitar work forward with blues, slide and so on added to the mix. He writes plenty of songs these days and makes a great live act. He has a website of course so look on that for more detail and tour dates. Filmed at Hulls legendary independent venue, The Adelphi
Great slide playing Keith. I was one of your biggest fans in the early 70's. I was at Redland College which you played several times. Always remember The Iceman, Roundabout, Travelling Down etc. Lent my LP to a "friend" and never got it back! Good to see you are still pickin' well after all these years!
