Don't be shy about wandering this massive market, where fish flown in daily from around the world is displayed and haggled over.

  • The best part of the toro is the fatty jabara( snakes stomach)cut from the bottom of the belly.Depending on your convictions, Japans seafood culture is either a testament to an islands cultures refinement, or the ultimate manifesttation of human greed that could empty the seas of their big fish within our lifetimes.Facts taken from Taras Grescoes book " Bottomfeeder" Read it you wont regret except if you are Japanese!

  • I want to go to that market one day. I want to taste that fresh toro!(its the best part of the tuna ask for it the next time you go to the sushi bar) Oshii!
