This is my cover of TOTO's simple but great song "Child's Anthem". I always wanted to play it with my band, but unfortunately the band split before we could do this amazig song. Now i found the backingtrack at guitarbt.com, so i recorded it with my Samsung camcorder. The backingtrack contains Drums, Bass and Keys. For this recording i used a POD Studio UX2 with PODFarm Software in standalone mode. The sound came through a pair of ESi nEAR 05 active monitors straight over to the cam's microphone. For the next recording i try to pick the sound directly out of my hardware.
Watch out for my other videos from my former band INSIGNIA and my upcoming recordings. Have fun!

  • hey man im thinking of buying these monitors for my ux2,are they good for guitar sound?also are they loud enough and have good quality?

  • @giwrgos1349

Kalinichta to greece! Yes, they are loud enough for a room and also good for guitar sound. It depends on what are into. I would go to a musicstore and test them. Some people say that they don't transport the bass-frequencies as they sould be heard with stereo speakers on a hifi stereo. The ESi nEAR 05 have been around for a long time now, and they are still successful. You don't make a mistake buying them. Think over your connection to them. Maybe you need an extra mixer. ;-)

  • Hey, you're welcome in my band, but we play in France.

I like how you are playing this song, simply, and not with a lot of notes.

    Bye
