  • bah53, I finally got the power brake booster vacuum check valve. NOW! I have my breaks again and the carbs aren't getting too much air from the ruptured valve (that was replaced) also the gasket around the carb has gone bad, but that should arrive shortly. After 46 years, can;t be mad about that. Anyway, I'm happy to report I'm back on the road. What's crappy about the whole deal ' I lost another original part' but the important thing is we're rolling again... Keep posting these vids, and THANX

  • @bga4life Glad to hear you got it fixed. Hopefully if my money situation improves I will be able to fix all the little stuff thats wrong with mine and cruise it around town again.

  • I have a 1963 Olds 98 Convertible were do you order your parts from :)

  • I get my parts wherever I can find them, don't really have a specific place I buy from

  • can you make another back showing the dash and back seats and stuff in more depth?

    Thanks

    Awesome care btw

  • sure, if its nice this weekend

  • Nice Car Sir...thank you for sharing

  • That 98 sure sounds great... Seems to start up and run great. The 98 town sedan (like yours) didn't come standard with power windows and seats, but all other 98 series had power windows and 2-way power seat standard. There was an option package called "custom interior package" on the base (town sedan) 98 that offered those options, plus an upgraded interior with rear-seat center armrest

  • I appreciate the vid, I also own a 1963 Oldsmobile 98 Holiday without the power features, I'm having a issue locating the power brake booster check valve that stands between the two hoses one leading from the Power Brake Bookster itself and the other leading to the base of the carb. Do you know the model number of this part and/or send my a clear pic of it.

  • sounds like james hetfield talking

  • Sweet lil car!

  • It's funny to see an old car like this out live the crap that's made now....my sister had a 1993 Olds Acheiva and because of constant electrical problems and overheating that car has been parked since 2004 with 92,000 miles on it
