Two women who took part in this demonstration died as a result of incarceration. The Liberal government and local West Vancouver Police - if they were the ones who arrested her - are evil! I have never felt more embarrassed to be a Canadian. I love Canada but its politicians are dishonest manipulative liars.

no I disagree the acts of violence perpetrated against native children for years and years had just the effect the government and the church wanted them to have.....I do say it is time to heal, and I will do anything to garner the forgiveness of the native peoples of Canada...a humble and repentant descendant of the European invaders..My real name Carol Anne Knapp...it is time to take true responsibility as a people for the wrongs and not leave it to insincere politicians. I agree with any and all opposition to the Vancouver 2010 Olympics. But I do NOT agree with any acts of violence. It's immoral and ineffective. It's also counterproductive. The government will just use the violence as a pretext to further restrict what's left of our Charter Rights. Vancouver's become enough of a police state as it is.
