I do the same as you, basically. I see what I like.. if it fits I buy it. I'm my own "designer"..
But I do love watching what real designers come up with. It's an art, so it's very interesting.
Women are concerned with how they appear to other people, they want to look good, and impress people. What better way to impress people than by looking like a million bucks... literally?

The hosts outfit reminds me of the old story of the emperor's new suit. I'm just waiting for the little kid to pop out and say "you're naked!" or in her case, "You're outfit is hideous"

I don't like skinny jeans either.. I think they point out how unhealthy peoples bodies look... overweight or underweight!
