good job, but you shouldn't have mentioned abroad as the reason for modern Kazakhs in being not so religious, that is not a point at all.

Yeah, I definitely think it depends on your experiences and family background. My great grandfather for instance, was a very devoted Communist, therefore he obviously did not practice any religion.

However, on the larger scale, I think if anything, the younger generation is more spiritual as a whole than the generation of our grandparents.

I kind of disagree on one point - I am not sure if the older generation that is now in their 70-90's are religious at all.Maybe we have different experiences, but,see,that generation in particular was targeted by the Sovyet authorities to give up any religious inclinations. On the contrary, the younger generation is seeing a religious revival, with more and more of them becoming believers. Which is normal because some people are built to believe and now there is no one suppressing them for that.
