  • you uploaded this when a person died on that day planking in BRISBANE!

  • @jodi9mm The beaches are the only reason people would ever go to the Gold Coast, apart from that there is pretty much nothing there, apart from the tacky, do them once a year theme parks. So you think not having a beach makes a city boring? Look at the most exciting cities in the world: New York, London, Paris. None of them have beaches. Beaches towns such as the Gold Coast are nice to go for a few days, but once you've done the beach, there is nothing to do there.

  • @jodi9mm Please keep the trashy, cultural waste hole that they call the Gold Coast. If you like the Gold Coast I am very relived that you hate Brisbane.

  • lol nice win mate

  • It really is the best city. ^_^

  • @MomoNoHanna But I do aggree that their system and zones need to be simplified and then maybe just maybe (with the idiots in charge of translink) it may work. But if they can't get their screens to work or a machine to accept my money (yes I've had this problem more than once!), then I doubt they can make it work by themselfs. They really need someone from the outside with a objective to come in and honestly say: 'change how it works'.

  • @SmartmanChris They have simalar systems in other countries and there's failed to work properly as welll. What really gets to me is the poor quality screens they have on the ticket machines where you top up your card. For someone like me who refuses to give my personal details away online to a company I do not trust, this is a fail. The screens are crap after just 6months. Yet the old ones worked fine. Now when your old stuff works better than your new stuff, you have a proberlem.

  • Wish I was back in Brisbane instead of Melbourne mainly because the missus is still in Brisbane. However, Brisbane was one the nicer cities that I have lived in. By the way that list is Adelaide (where I'm from), Murray Bridge, Whyalla, Sydney (twice), Perth (twice), Brisbane, Queanbeyan, Melbourne (twice), Binghamton (NY, USA) and Worthing (England). I rated Brisbane and Perth very high, Melbourne is good too as is Adelaide (but probably because I am from there).

  • @MomoNoHanna When I lived in Brisbane, I was an early user of the Go Card. There were a lot of "teething" problems. I live in Melbourne now and they are still complaining about the costs of implementing the Myki card. In Sydney they had big problems with their public transport smart card. They all seem to have big problems unless the fare and zone structures are greatly simplified.

  • @golfernky We differentiate between "going to the trots" and "having the trots".
