am doing TREC on saturday, not a hope of getting my boy to a slow canter tho, but will give it a bash, there's no harm in trying :)

great film! I'm doing trec training in july and cant wait! I've never done it before but I think my pony is going to be a natural!
And if the champs are at oatridge again this year then I might go along to watch. (I know -ish david hay-thornburn. I've been to the holiday place he runs with tove grey stephens)

its to show control of your horse. Being able to canter very slowly then walk fast shows you can control and direct your horse at a variety of paces. Its good fun :D

I've never done TREC cause I do not have my own horses but I'd love to. Why do you have to show slow canter and fast walk?
