Everyone wants a piece of Greek HISTORY... I do not blame you... You made Georgios Iskariwths albanian... Alexander the Great half albanian... Souliotes albanian soldiers... And i can understand that. Your history is short and empty. You need things to make you proud... Just like Persians.THEY say that Alexander is HALF Persian. Slavs say MAKEDONES were slavs... EVERYBODY wants a piece of our history...

@priestharis You do not have to be sarcastic in your comments. Maybe it is better to find out if the sulioti were greeks why would they speak albanian or arvanites as you say? Not all orthodox are greeks. Where are the vlah in greece or would you say there are none? The biggest disadvantage of the arvanites was the absence of the written language. Greeks did their best to prevent it, even killing the teachers of the albanian language. One of those killed was Papa Kristo Negovani.

Greece had arvanites slavs and vlachs as the other countries around it had also.

@priestharis your history after the 18th century is plastic. it is like chinese food! everybody was a piece of modern greek history i.e albanans, slavs, vallchs etc and that is because they are a part of it. the only requiron o be a greek is "baptism in a greek orthodox church" regardless of ethnic group, genetic make up or country of origin! and that my friend is the ridiculuos gree history of the modern era
