  • if you are an advanced user, this video is practically junk. but it sure is pretty good for the average american that watches way too much tv and believes everything they see ahahahahahaha ;). P.S right now i'm using a xubuntu installed from a minimal ubuntu cd with windows 7 dualboot. so obviously i'm not hating on anything

  • oobintu?

    do you mean uBUNtu?

  • Lol encarta doesn't even exist anymore!

  • It's not green. It's black and white.

  • R.I.P Everex

  • practically, there are replacement software for anything and everything in linux, for the software u use on windows.

on ubuntu, it's easier to find and install. i use debian. still pretty good, not as user friendly as ubuntu, though.

all u need to do is search and get used to the new software, just like you'd get used to any new windows software.

  • I'm going to see one of these boxes.

All of that running off 20W of power is outstanding. Think about the your file server that on 24/7 and your electric bill.

  • Just like Linux.

  • I used to think the same..and sometimes do think the same but its been about 6 months and havent booted into windows ..dont knw why..i guess its just addictive once you realise how fast it is..moreover...i agree there is a bit of learnin curve but then whats google for.

  • the only reason i dont use ubuntu is because most things work on windows. otherwise i would use it
