Around 1980, the cast of Guiding Light created this spoof of the show. Using current storylines and characters, they crafted these random scenes. Some are funnier than others, but it is neat to see some of the great characters back in the day.

This clip has the following scenes:

1. Alan Spaulding, Diane Ballard, Hope Bauer, and Jackie Marler

2. Mike Bauer and Ann Jeffers

3. Commercial Spoof

  • LOL at Alan, Diane, Jackie, Hope scene! Thank you for posting Marsha Clark's spoof of Guiding Light.

  • This is hysterical! Loved it!

  • @Robansuefarm This would have been filmed while Alan was still married to Jackie.

  • I sure miss Mike, even if they had to recast I wish he was around when Manny was. "I have a strict policy of defending only members of my immediate family....I have more than enough trouble with just the Bauers. For backbone of the community we get ourselves into a lot of trouble with the law...One more incident like that thing at the last Tupperware party and you can get yourself another lawyer."

  • The name scene is funny, but I always loved Alan with Hope. It was just as well when Diane got written off. I wonder which one he was married to at this point. Funny when Diane directs the camera man. "Breath heavily into the phone she likes that."

  • Wow, kind of makes you wonder just what the incident with Bert at the Tupperware party was, doesn't it? ;-)

  • Absolutely hysterical

  • It just proves a point that Guiding Light has the best daytime cast because AMC keep stealing people from Guiding light.

Guiding light, make there own talent, AMC takes other people talent.

AMC sucks then and it still sucks now, the writing became so bad to I dont even watch it any more, I turn to Days of our lives and keep it there.

    Guiding Light

    Days of our lives

is way better then AMC, and why did Rebecca come back to play Greenlee if she didnt stay 1 year??? AMC sucks

  • this is TOO funny.

  • That Diane looks a bit like Holly.
