  • This is all the more impressive for that 750mw overcoming the noise floor you have there! At a loose end after a radio break of several years, I knocked a crystal oscillator with an L-match on the output together on 7030 a couple years or so back, producing about 150 mw. Threw 20 metres of wire out the shack window down to the shed and used the heating radiator in the shack as a ground, used the old ICR71E for RX. A couple CQ calls brought in a DL and I was hooked again. QRP can really grab you.
