A virtual tour of Bat World Sanctuary ( http://www.batworld.org/ ). Includes the day-to-day activities of our volunteers as well as our permanent bat residents. Night vision was sometimes used to film the bats (which makes their eyes glow). Music: Two Spirits Soar by renowned composer Brian Crain. Used with permission. www.briancrain.com. • This video just made me cry a little. Don't worry, it wasn't bad. I just love bats that much. Wish I could volunteer. Anywhere in Colorado?

strawberryShaker420's suggestion of a webcam seems great. I would love to watch it all day.

  • @MikaSorano. Check our Local Rescue page at batworld.org for listings of possible people to contact about volunteering.

  • Also, thank you for your comment! I have to state that Brian Crain's music really adds feeling to our video. I've never heard another composer who can create so much emotion through music.

  • q~ can you make videos of the red bats? it wold be so cool if there was a live cam or something !!

there are very few videos of redbats on the internet:(

  • This is so cool! If I lived closer I'd ask if I could volunteer. :-) Thanks for all your hard work in making the lives of those bats a lot better.

  • You have the most beautifully clean bat facility that I've ever seen (having cleaned a few bat enclosures in the past)! Gorgeous work and planning. You guys are doing some fantastic work with these bats! Wish you were in NE.

  • you folks at BWS are truly amazing. Thank you for educating and enlighting us about these amazing but very misunderstood creatures.

  • this is SO incredibly cute! i'm so thankful that people like you exist, it's really beautiful. i think bats are really cute animals :) but i must admit that once one of them came into my room and i was sooo scared and shocked. didn't know what to do :/ and the bat seemed scared and in panic too. so i just waited till it flew out again into the night :)

  • WONDERFUL

The work you do is just amazing

  • A place of safety.

  • This video is really nifty, wish I could use some of my art and make your organization a t-shirt.

  • What I would not give to work with these little, and big, creatures. I have loved them all my life and only wanted to learn and do more, I even wanted to start my own rescue sometime but I definitely need to know more and have more resources. It's kind of a life dream to be able to work with these animals sometime. Bones is one of my favorites, was nice to see him in there. Keep up your wonderful work!!!
