The longer the neck, the more richly the overtones will pop. Think of Jaco Pastorius playing harmonics, then try to play some on a Les Paul. It just ain't the same.

Wish there was a better shot of the guitar. But it's a nice candid session of him running the instrument through its paces. I don't understand the advantage of a "long-scale" guitar, though. Maybe Tal Farlowe could use one.

The things we did last summer is great tune, nice one for posting this. Love Russell's playing. Should try and get back to Southport next time.
