Oce Nas (The Lord's Prayer) by George Milosh in St. Elijah Serbian Orthodox Church in Aliquippa, PA

"The Lord's Prayer" (OCE NAS) sung by the very musically talented, George Milosh, of the St. Elijah Serbian Orthodox Church in Aliquippa, PA, USA on St. Nicholas' Day, December 19, 2010. Our church is extremely lucky to have incredible talent amongst our youth who love their Serbian Orthodox heritage, and as you can readily see, George is definitely one of those gifted by God. George is studying Music at the very prestigious Boston Conservatory. He was the star in many high school musicals throughout his pre-college career, and his talent is very much in evidence here. Typically, this movie should have been filmed by a camera pointing up to the choir loft, but this was the best I could do from my tenor position in the choir. If you wait until George is finished, you WILL get a glimpse of the handsome young man of whom we all are mighty proud!

Although we aren't fortunate to have George singing "OCE NAS" every Sunday, we do have a very beautiful service and we welcome you to come and hear us. Join us. Our services start at 10:00 AM (sharp!) on Sundays. You are WELCOMED.

Oce nas, ize jesi na nebesjeh, da svjatitsja imja tvoje, da pridet carstvije tvoje, da budet volja tovja, jako na nebesi i na semlji. Hljeb nas nasuscnji daz nam dnes, i ostavi nam dolgi nasja, jakoze i mi ostavljajem dolznikom nasim, i ne vo vedi nas vo iskusenije, no izbavi nas ot lukavago. (Mt.6:9-13; Lk. 11; 2-4) Priest: V.Rev. Thank you for this beautiful rendition of Oce Nas. I was seeking something tonight to keep the memory eternal of Frank Snyder, my beloved father and devout member of St. Elijah Church for decades. June 8, 2011, marks five years since he has fallen asleep in our Lord. Vecnaja Pamjat!
