Precision Engine Balancing is something often overlooked, especially by "backyard" or "inexperienced" engine builders. This video showcases not only engine balancing of a Honda 4 cyl. rotating assembly, but at the precise specification that Inline Four holds its engine building standards to. After watching this video, you will not look at engine building the same and will want the best for your engine. "Do it right, or don't do it at all!" =Brandon...out!

  • wow trying to up one on BC..

  • Hi i have a question is there a calculation to find the proper weight for crank shaft counter weights? ie piston weight + 75% con rod weight ??

im looking at building a 998cc roller crank classic mini and i want the thing to safely rev to 10k

  • Great work. Very nice shop! Keep it up guys

  • Very informative! Thank you! More videos please!

  • @GOD12A Hello, I am not the video poster but to answer your question, They weigh the small end then balance the rods to small end weight then do an over-all weight and match the rods, This is always done on the big end because the small ends match already.

  • Great video! Thank you for sharing your experiences. One question though, how did you decide whether to lighten the rods at the small end or along the bolt flats? Thanks again for a great vid :)

  • Good video, gives good information on the process inline four takes to perfection.
