The Redfern Block Party - Official Movie Trailer

This is the trailer for a documentary I made about a significant day in Australian B-boy history.

The background story is...
In 2004, riots erupted at 'The Block' (an area of the inner Sydney city suburb of Redfern that is often perceived as a dangerous black getto). The riots were triggered by the death of a youth from the area during a police pursuit. The riots further rocked race relations in Australia.

I decided to take some positive action by establishing a breaking program for the youth of 'The Block'.
The program was launched with the now annual Redfern Block Party and since its beginnings has helped many youth from the area overcome and turn negative to positive through the formation of a local b-boy crew (The Redfern City Rockers) and participation in b-boy culture.
