The lady who did your psych eval was very thorough; that's a good sign. My surgeon (and this is my surgeon, so bear that it in mind) Put me on a 30 day low fat, super low carb (30 grams a day) diet prior to surgery. The reason for the seriously low carbs is to shrink the liver prior to surgery; this makes it easier to get to the stomach with the laproscopic tools. I've lost 25 pounds so far and am feeling mighty fine, despite having no clothes that fit lol.
