Malibu Creek State Park

2.3 miles each way to the M*A*S*H site. Great beautiful hike for all ages. This video shows the various trail levels, the Visitor Center and the MASH site with comparative pictures to the T.V. show opening and optional creek crossing during the winter months. Well worth the $8. parking. Video shot in January 08.

This has to be the best video i've seen depIcting this amazing park.. However, i must admit, once u started showing the MASH site, tears literally came out of my eyes dude.. EXELLENT JOB!! You have to hike in from the campground, easy hike, level, fire road, it is a whole 'nother world back there. You HAVE to go.

Very Cool. Great information. I felt like you took me on an adventure with your shots of the family walking on the trail. I loved the banjo music, and great way of incorporating the MASH screen caps with your video. Way to go dude.

The MASH set was destroyed by a wildfire that raced through the canyon on Oct 9, 1982, just as they were wrapping up the series. Watch the 2 hour final episode of MASH and you'll see where the fire damage was written into the script. The burned out jeep and ambulance were never removed.

It is a shame that Fox Studios couldn't preserve the outdoor stage a little better. That show touched so many peoples lives. Very cool video though.
