As my old mate Temple Sutherland wrote as the final lines in his book 'The Golden Bush' about his life in New Zealand in the depression years of the late 1920's and 30' with wife Sam and Angus their beloved Cocker Spaniel 'We gave our hearts to a dog to tear, the scares are gladly carried'.

Very nice video, extremely emotional for dog owners like myself.

Just come across this track on the album 'Eternal Echoes'. This is the most moving track and I like the way you've used it as a memory of your dear pet. It helps me remember my recently passed cat Tosh and my German Shepherd Kim. Thanks for sharing.

John Barry. RIP. He has left us so much beautiful music! I bought Eternal Echoes back in 1998. Dad had just passed away. I couldn't listen to the album for a long time. Mr Barry really knew how to stare the emotions! A great man....
