i know flyings cool now with all the fancy missiles and stuff but for me, i wanna fly in world war 2. it just seemed more intense. although no doubt air combat itself is intense but idk. just a thought.

@TheAerialplatypus Well and I mean no disrespect for the pilots of today but back then it was totally skill to rely on and trust in the machine. No computers to compenstate, no missiles that track and do the kill. It just you, your machine, guts and the other guy doing the same thing against you.

Your right, the WW2 generation is going away soon, I know this too because my grand father is dieing, he served in the Navy from Gaudalcanal to okinawa and he is fading fast, I thank him every day for the freedom that we see to abuse today
