Interacting with Shadow, 4 month old feline

Short clip of me and Shadow (one of the 3 feral rescue kittens I adopted in October, who are 4 months old as of Dec 2009). In the evenings he often likes to nap on the bed and have snuggles. He waits there for me (or one of his siblings) and purrs. :D

Aww, so sweet. :) I love how he plays with your glasses. He looks like my oldest, most timid cat who I also rescued as an abandoned feral. :) Seems like you've earned his trust really fast!

@misphotod : Hehe, he was so small in this video! (He's 15 lbs now!) And yeah, for whatever reason he started trusting me very quickly, like within days of being adopted. That was all his personality, though -- I don't have any special cat skills, and his brother and sister took much longer to get comfortable with any humans (though that doesn't make any of them better or worse, they're all lovely and wonderful cats at 2.5 years old!)

@AnneCorwin Wow, how sweet! He must have been very grateful towards you. That's amazing that he is 15 lbs now!!!!! Sounds like a big guy -- I think I'd have to cuddle him. I am the same way with my own cats ~ I have one who trusts me very much and might as well be a little teddy bear, and the other is much more independent but she does things daily to make me laugh. I love them both! Keep enjoying your kitties' company & thanks for the reply; I love meeting others who <3 their animal companions!
