i bowl two handed with no thumb obviously and it works great even with plastic balls

i bowl 2 handed. for my control i use the middle finger of my left hand as weird as that may sound (i'm right handed). my average is at 165 but when i started the league i was at 139. im bowling on a league for the first time in 5 years. one of my buddies' dad is trying to convince me to use my thumb but i think im doing quite alright

@w6030 The sales of high performance bowling balls is the majority of the revenue that bowling makes now a days. The fact that the companies release and sell so many is actually what is keeping the sport alive. Score inflation is really not that big of a deal, if you think about the competition. The more accurate bowlers still win PBA tournaments, they just win with higher scores. Also there are very difficult oil patterns like the US open pattern, that force bowlers to be perfectly accurate.

@w6030 um. u ever bowled with a rubber ball on a original bowling alley? i have and it sucks. i used my ball on a original bowling alley and i couldnt get it to hook at all. not once. still threw a 145 though :)
