@HeistPvP Black smoke from engine it's PM. Biggest part of PM it's solid. Biggest part of solid part is carbon. Carbon is ofc not dangerous. Dangerous are oxids and hydrocarbons which carbon adsorbs very good. If black smoke would be only soot, there wont be so restrictive regulations, and you wont see DPF (Diesel Partikel Filter) ;)
Anyway people aren't biggest problem in environment. Only 1% of CO2 emission is cause of human.

A VW Golf Diesel gets more MPG than a Prius, meaning it's more fuel efficient, more environmentally friendly, and more bang for the buck. Please GTFO Prius Treehuggers. Diesel and the black smoke they output is practically all soot, unprocessed fuel, while the invisible gasoline fumes are so processed, they destroy the environment. The black shit is just pure carbon, which the trees REALLY love.
