  • all depends on how fast you spin the motor and how good the tune is. Sounds like a well done car for lasting as long as it did.

This car had a turbo on it for 4 years, generally running lower boost and in the 400's on horsepower though, but it never split. He also had an LX with a stock block 302, with an S Trim @ 12 PSI, AFR 185's, 100 Shot, made 3 nitrous passes at the track, some blower passes, and some passes on the street, block never split in it either. Then again, I know others that have split. It's so hit or miss.

  • @slackerm1 That is amazing.makes me wanna do mine now.im curios how long itl last before the block splits.

  • @slackerm1 FUCK YEA! thats pretty tight!

It did, actually found out after another friend got the car as a roller with the shortblock still in it, it was a rebuilt stocker. Stock hyper pistons, rods, crank, just reringed and bearinged I guess. Even had what people say is a big no no, o ringed block so it couldnt blow a head gasket no matter what, so the block had to take everything, even times when the car ran out of fuel and started breaking up and stuttering.

  • Does it really have a stock shortblock?
