all depends on how fast you spin the motor and how good the tune is. Sounds like a well done car for lasting as long as it did.

This car had a turbo on it for 4 years, generally running lower boost and in the 400's on horsepower though, but it never split. He also had an LX with a stock block 302, with an S Trim @ 12 PSI, AFR 185's, 100 Shot, made 3 nitrous passes at the track, some blower passes, and some passes on the street, block never split in it either. Then again, I know others that have split. It's so hit or miss.

It did, actually found out after another friend got the car as a roller with the shortblock still in it, it was a rebuilt stocker. Stock hyper pistons, rods, crank, just reringed and bearinged I guess. Even had what people say is a big no no, o ringed block so it couldnt blow a head gasket no matter what, so the block had to take everything, even times when the car ran out of fuel and started breaking up and stuttering.

He bought the car like that......but we did take the kit off. It's not the easiest thing to work around, but installable.
