VocaListener : This song and speech is synthesized with VOCALOID Hatsune Miku and "VocaListener", a new technology that automatically calculates vocal parameters for VOCALOID to sing naturally, developed by Masataka Goto, a Senior Research Scientist working at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST). The details of this technology will be presented on May 28th, 2008.

  • The point of Miku was an advance in music technology, not to sound like an anime character, weeaboo.

  • Because they have characters designed to go along with the voices. Not the other way around.

  • she sounds like fujita saki (who provides miku's voice)..

  • This is wonderful! I'll admit I'm one of those who thinks that the robotic quality gives Vocaloids a sort of identity and has a sort of charm about it, but at the same time, this makes me very happy that machines are becoming closer to sounding like humans. Call it twisted, but that's how I think.

  • I love how awesome she sounds!!

    Miku's getting older and better people ;u;

  • In the Vocaloid engine it's more synthesized and robotic because it's unable to create an imperfect voice.The notes were perfectly on time with no pitch mess ups.Now they are fluctuating with the sound of a human voice.Her voice wasn't intended to sound like a robot.They are supposed to sound as human as possible, this is how she was intended to sound like guys.You can't say this sounds horrible compared to the Vocaloid version.Sorry to burst your bubble, no harm intended.

  • Oh and is it me or does Miku sound older with this new software. Same happens to Rin... weird...

    I guess they're growing up lol XD

  • This is crazy close to how Saki Fujita (Miku's voice bank provider) actually sings. Miku is getting better O.O

  • To people saying they prefer the robotic sound to Vocaloids-- Well, the program was intended to be there for songwriters who don't have anyone to sing their songs. I don't know about anyone else, but if I were one of those songwriters, I'd want vocals as close to human-sounding as possible. Technology is advancing, people. :D

  • @xXxXDreamerGirlXxXx Vocalistener is coming bundled with Vocaloid 3, so no.

  • Why complaining about this character thing? Miku sounds awesome in this get over it.

  • u know where to get the full version of this song?
