Now I know what a lot of you are thinking, and the answer is yes, this park is indeed heavily based on Blackpool Pleasure Beach, it is not however, a reproduction.

This park contains a few interesting experiments that I have done, the most noticeable being the observation tower.

This tower might not be taller or that structurally different to my other towers, but this one is ascended by suspended monorail, instead of by lift. The monorail track actually spirals up the outside of the building. This works out quite well, as each train can carry twenty people, and multiple trains can use the system at the same time, this is much more efficient than the ten person capacity of a lift. The other advantage is that the top of the tower is only one of the stops on the monorail track, there is also a two-way station inside the tower base building, and another station elsewhere in the park.

This park contains three roller coasters, they are:

"Velociraptor"
Corkscrew Coaster
Excitement Rating: 7.01 (High)
Intensity Rating: 5.95 (High)
Nausea Rating: 2.85 (Medium)

This is a standard corkscrew coaster, with a few loops and corkscrews. I have used the "prehistoric" walls set to create a fence around the ride, it give it a "Jurassic Park" look. The monorail track also enters this enclosure.

"Diagonally"
Wooden Coaster
Excitement Rating: 7.13 (High)
Intensity Rating: 6.45 (High)
Nausea Rating: 3.82 (Medium)

Now here we have an interesting one. This started out as an attempt to create an entirely diagonal roller coaster, however the game does not allow you to create diagonal stations, The ride is almost entirely diagonal though, and it is much harder to do than you might think. Has anyone else tried this? Please let me know.

"The Large One"
Giga Coaster
Excitement Rating: 8.70 (Very High)
Intensity Rating: 5.06 (Medium)
Nausea Rating: 2.60 (Medium)

This was obviously heavily inspired by "The Pepsi Max Big One" at Blackpool Pleasure Beach, except that I have used the Giga Coaster.

As usual, no custom scenery or cheats were used.

  • how did you get the windows on the observation tower double sided.. itll just red out for me becdause there is a path right there

  • There is a tutorial on my web site.

  • I think you should reduce number of trains in monorail track. They seem to pile up at 1:23.

  • I agree, although I really think it would be better to adjust the timing, but I just could not seem to get it right!

  • u usd custom scenery

  • How could I have, I don't even have any installed!!!

  • Okay nice layout, the tower is beautifull in all its simplicity.

The woodencoaster looks very large because you put it diagonally but give it a more original name.

'The large one' coaster is a bit boring, just up and down, up and down.

And use brakes when you enter the station.

But after all it is a nice looking park.

    PS: Less monorail trains

  • Did u build this park with all 3 expansion packs ?? :-/

  • 'The Large One' looks more like a Stratacoaster to me 0.o

  • Perfect....TOO prefect...

    good one ;D

  • woooooow dude awsume

  • Oh that's why it's called Diagonally lol
