  • nostalgia! a big one...damn that was the best rpg ever

  • Bioware isnt dead, ME/ME2 or DA are and will be good games. But in one point you are right, nothing will ever take BGs place.

  • ME and BG are Bioware's best franchises. Nothing will change that. Let's just hope BG3 comes out -.-

  • I was defending Bioware, and thought Mass Effect and Dragon Age Origin were good games.... but then they did Mass Effect 2 and Dragon Age 2 and they're now officially dead to me.

  • Dragon Age sucked. Or at least a lot of it did.

Walk two steps - Darkspawn! - Walk two more steps -Darkspawn! - Walk three more steps - Guess what, Darkspawn! - More darkspawn! This time, they have a mage! - Four steps - And Darkspawn again!

Honestly, that game had a few good parts, but most of it was extremely boring.

And the world felt like a theatre stage.

  • @Schragmeister Mass Effect 1 and Mass Effect 2. Dragon Age Oragins and Dragon Age 2

  • @LoStH3R0

DA and DA2 are a bit more of a complex issue, so I won't say anything about them, but MA is just barely a *game* at all, much less a roleplaying game.

Fantastic music though, brings back memories. Thanks for posting!:)

  • @RiseofBane It's also to be mentioned that it's not what the free market basic pattern is - you're supposed to be making commercially succesful games, not good games if you want to stay competetive. Whether one likes it or not matters little. At the beginning there was a group of guys who wanted to create great games and they did create them indeed. New development teams with fresh new ideas arise, the new becomes old and is ultimately forgotten, basic principles of the universe. :-)

  • @RiseofBane It was nice while it lasted. Nothing lasts forever - that's especially true in case of technology companies. Zuckerberg summed it up nicely in one of his interviews when he said (and I'll paraphrase) that the bigger these companies get, the harder it is to keep them dynamic.

  • @LoStH3R0 Bioware might die.. because I heard EA took them !!

  • I prefer mages over anything else. I have actually ciompleted BG2 and BG2 TOB with only one character, a mage. And I'm not joking.
