My Father and his friends from the Pigeon Club are wearing typical casual wear - the year is 1956. Notice how dressed up they are for such a messy task of releasing the pigeons for the flight home. Casual wear includes Kahkis w T-shirt, Bomber Jacket, Zippered Leisure Jacket, Boxy Shirt, Boxy Jacket, two styles of jean wear with cuffs up and cuffs up and then rolled under. My Dad said Pigeon Racing was the Sport of Kings, and when they saw Roy Rogers was a member of Racing that made it swell.
