  • It's so unfair when Europeans can get American beers that other Americans can't get :(

But yeah, Hopslam is awesome. I wish Bell's would start distributing to upstate New York so I could get some.

  • @ChadzBeerReviews Hey Chad, don't feel bad, it's not an official import, it was brought over by a buddy

  • I live in Kalamazoo, so I drank through about three sixers of Hopslam this year. Just out of curiosity, do you know the batch number (listed on the back of the bottle) of the bottle you reviewed?

Nicely done. We make some good beer here in Michigan. Cheers!

  • @TheEndosymbiosis I'm not sure if this is the right number, but the most obvious one is10093

  • I disagree that you wouldn't want to drink a six pack of Hopslam, I did when I tried it.

  • @majordbag2 Were you just overexcited, or did you need to get dunk in a big hurry?

  • Top review Zak, that is a pretty rare beer, cheers

  • Great channel, thanks for all the awsome reviews.

  • @ZakAvery Probably closer to the first one.

You see I planned on only drinking two but the more drunk I get the less I'm able to resist eating and drinking tasting things and since my six pack of Hopslam was the tastiest thing I had in my possesion two became three, then four, and then I thought "well I already drank four so why not just finish it off"

  • Good review Zak. I can almost taste the hops and citrus from just listening to your description. Man, am I thirsty. 3 hours and 45 minutes until I can get from behind this desk and get a pint.

  • I was able to try this beer this year for the first time and I completely agree with your comparison to Pliny the Elder. Both are fantastic renditions of the style and are done in a manner that doesn't leave your palette feeling fatigued or full. Excellent Beer! Good review too!

  • @ZakAvery Definitely this year's batch, then. Bell's puts a batch number on the back of the bottles, and you can look up the bottling date on their website. Glad you liked the Hopslam. Thanks for the response.
