  • I LOVE BRITNEY, but her and MJ dont compare at all, her legacy isnt nearly as big even though she is a pop icon, but why compare a female and male singer anyway, who does that? and MJ was the number 1 selling pop artist in history, his sales are close to 1 BILLION and countless sold out concerts, only person that has sold more was ELVIS, and he and britney were popular to 2 TOTALLY different time periods. MJ was both an AMERICAN and WORLD icon. comparing the two is ridiculous.

  • It must be released. So much emotion and personal experience in this. Britney is amazing.

  • @hotboycam I agree with you. But Britney is a world wide icon as well.

  • britney spears is one of the ONLY female singers i can listen to

  • @INATORdom cause she doesnt give it credit

  • Crappy

  • @kimonap ACE of BASE all that she wants cover

  • Sounds like a song from the original doll , so dark and great

  • @MrSteABW i wish she still had control. :(

  • If there's still any confusion, this song is NOT a COVER. It simply samples that "All that she wants...." line from the Ace of Base song. This is quite common. The song itself is an original, entirely penned by Britney & started out as a POEM she posted entitled Remembrance of Who I Am.

She wrote it whilst heavily pregnant with her 2nd son, Jayden James (making the 'all that she wants/is another baby' line even more poignant), & just months before finally ending her marriage.

    Stressful times!

  • @LuvBrit2637 You're right - I don't know why people always seem to forget this! Blackout was the only album where Britney is listed as the Executive Producer (which is quite unusual and she should be given credit for this), and she had full 100% control. She did well too, I think it was her most critically acclaimed album when most people were expecting a train wreck, and Rolling Stone called it the most "influencial album of the past 5 years".

  • This song is utterly stunning. What a tragedy that it was never fully completed (this is still a very early version, a very rough demo & I expect she would've also re-recorded her vocals).

This is about as raw and honest as we've ever heard from Britney. Usually she's quite poetic and uses alot of imagery and metaphors, but this is a blatent outpouring of raw, painful emotions.

She shouldn't shy away from this side of herself as an artist. It is utterly beautiful and fans love it....
