Strange floating object (UFO?) near San Antonio

I was in the back yard when I noticed this object floating perfectly still in the sky despite a strong crosswind. When I zoomed in with the camcorder, it looked like a white, two part cylinder. It was visible to me for about 20 minutes and then disappeared rapidly.

About 1 year ago i saw the same thing near I-10 and Blanco for about 5 minutes.I wanted to shoot at it but it looked pretty far away.

I saw a similar thing around september / october 08. A white pill shaped thing in the sky which didnt move at all for about half an hour or so, and when i glanced away from looking at it for a split second or 2, it had completely vanished. There is one thing different though, the top of the object had a smaller white stick thing coming out of it at an angle, like an antennia or something. VERY strange...

Not a clue. However, here is the challenge. Sometimes light, wind and other variables can distort objects. You do have a pretty good video, and you did the best you could, but its very hard say what it could be.

I do know this: It is NOT a secret military experiment. If the military exposes a secret, then its not a secret any longer but it is a breach (beadwindow).

oohh WOW, i saw the same exact object in the sky, upright,still..in Sudbury Ontario area one morning! disapeared and reappeared again 30min later..makes you wonder..?

excellent video.very strange how object stays upright. nothing like a weather balloon.
