2 Homemade Airboat's Too much power first try on pavement and gravel

I made these a while ago, I took around 2 hours each. I was bored and threw on some electronics to see if they would still work. They are kinda ghetto but they do the trick. One has losi dual motor esc with traxxas transmitter and receiver with a tamiya double wound motor. They other is traxxas xl5 with 12 turn motor and losi 2.4 ghz tq rx. I had a brushless 8000kv castle creations with 3s lipo but it was waaay too fast. I made vid of them a long time ago but the transmitter sucked. Cant wait for the water.

@SnoopMaxx The wk is in parts for now, I broke 2 db last time out and it is expensive to replace everytime out. Im going to take it to the pits one of these days for a good beating.

The base is tuck tape and styrofoam, You should have seen it with the bl 8000 and 3s. It was nuts

Thats pretty cool. I actually have 2 props because Tower screwed up an order once. They were suppose to be steering knuckles for the SK. I should get creative with them like you did.

@xjonny26 Thanks jonny, They are not hard to make you should try it. You have enough water around you to have some fun. I need to change the motors around before I hit the water, The small one is a bit too crazy and the big one doesnt have enough power. When you posting a new one?
