Wow Jon, you were Flying!!! (except the part at the begining where the sun dazzles you as you come out of the shade and take a sudden left hook!!)

Sounds like a nice ride, and the roads are still a bit "off road" too.
I can't imagine going anywhere to anywhere off road really :/ around here nothing exists (bridleways are random and only maintained for horses = long grass).
Do any of your friends (or participants) at the end have prosthetic legs? Either they do (good on them) or your video makes it look like it :p

@drsquirrel0 Ha, looking at the vid again I can see why you thought that :) Na, he's got two whole legs that one.
I love riding off road just never really get much of a chance. I've been a roadie all my life so have zero bike skills which can make life off road 'interesting' at times :)

@jonredhornet As I've become older riding on footpaths have become less acceptable, and there isn't anywhere else to go (without driving there, which defeats my purposes). Which is why I've ended up on the road :p
Though replacing my 2nd with a hybrid I am tempted to go for a more MTB orientated and drive (grrrr) to some trails.
How about a video of the parts where you had to go up hills rather than just the easy down stuff? :p

@drsquirrel0 Tried to find a few more interesting clips, some of the up hills were killers. Even had to walk for one very brief stretch :/
