The Mark of Heroism is a great item to have but keep in mind that some of the statutes you warp to are NOT clear of the totems. You have to either time it right or climb part of it on your own; otherwise you might warp right on top of one.

@Valce wrong. the map 'resets' when you enter it or teleport. a prime example is when someone enters the map a few seconds before you and does the JQ. it appears they are jumping through the pillars. as long as you press up within a few seconds of teleporting, you are perfectly safe

There is a faster way, in Lower Ascent you can enter the first cave, and in this teleport to the cave at Upper Ascent. This way you can skip the whole Path of Peril thing.
