@dgl1962 No. That is incorrect. Banks don't lend out their reserves (your deposits) -- that would be ILLEGAL. Banks CREATE the new credit to lend to you (at interest) out of THIN AIR. There used to be reserve laws, but those are now void. They invent the credit, and then lend it to you at INTEREST. And they have a monopoly on doing so. So NO. The banks didn't pay for ANYTHING. Get it straight. It's all in "Modern Money Mechanics" -- the book the Federal Reserve uses. Read it.

@dgl1962 Obviously, we need banking and interest is necessary to pay for their operating costs. What we don't need to do is allow them to make billions in profit from lending other people's money, or worse, money they created out of nothing. That is NOT necessary. Banking should be non-profit and decentralized.

You can also use Credit Unions instead of the banks for the same purposes as banks. STOP using the BANKS!

Ha! You couldn't make this video without giggling,. It sounds like a big joke, but the joke is on us. I hate Banks, been in a legal battle with a British one for 3 years now. I got my personal beef and then there is all this. I HATE them, they create nothing of value but will fuck any entrepreneur in trying to do so. They are scum. They control the show and have been for a long time. I wished i had never ignored my Grandpa who survived the Weimar collapse and always warned me of them.
