"I was fighting against him and the referee...pushing is not a warning in the rule book. The referee could have told me that; he didn't once say to me he was going to take a point off of me...his early rounds, he tried to box me and I was outboxing him. Then he was smothering me and made it a bit of a wrestling match by pushing his head into me, making it a little bit messy and stuff...everywhere I went in DC, people said, 'Look, you won that fight hand down'...even people in DC thought I won the fight...I want to get this rematch cleared and I want to beat Lamont Peterson fair and square," stated former jr. welterweight champion Amir Khan, who talked about his razor-thin split decision loss to Lamont Peterson this past weekend. Khan has a lot to learn and think about! I say he should retire because he has been exposed as a 1-2 puncher with no inside game or defense...
