Dave Aldana, the famous AMA racer, still kicks it up a notch when he races AHRMA vintage motocross. He earned the nickname "Rubber Ball" back in the day as he bounced back from horrendous crashes with ease. That 56-year-old body still bounces up as you will see in this 2006 race at Barber Motorsport Park.

Dave Aldana was so much fun to watch! Got to see him ride the San Jose Mile a couple times and he was the wildest one out there! Great to see he is still having fun! kat

If you look at european motocross, it is completely different than american "Scrambles'.....even at that time! I still enjoy watching Dave Aldana ride, what a talent, ask his uncle Joe.......

Aldana was one of the most versatile riders in the late 60's to mid-70's. He won in every discipline he competed in.
I got to meet him at the Del Mar, California Cycle Show several years ago. He's a real down-to-earth guy who loves to talk bikes.
