Audio/Visual ASMR: Playing with fire (literally), plus some water and sugar.

My camera is down for the count :( so webcam here. Lots of fun crackling, popping noises - sugar and fire react very interestingly! I used to throw sugar on campfires, the result was intense (think: the beginning of every story on Are You Afraid of the Dark?). Let me know if this does anything for any of you :)

Safety first disclaimer: I'm adult, I'm allowed to have lighters and candles. Also, I had the bowl of water right next to me if something went awry, plus my kitchen has fire extinguishers that I know how to operate ;) (yeah, that means I caught my stove on fire once...)

I can only imagine this with a good camera...methinks it would be epic, because even with a web cam i still got all my asmr-y tingliness.

@searo123 haha, my oven and stove are currently broken, so I wouldn't be able to recreate that scene anyway ;) It was traumatic at the time, but it was just a little fire from potatoes boiling over. I panicked and cried and called my boyfriend and he laughed hysterically at my overreacting haha... I'm just glad I was calm enough to think to grab the fire extinguisher. If it ever happens again, I'll keep my cool.

@dtoppression I've actually never seen the reaction of salt vs fire, Google's telling me it either extinguishes the flame or it bounces... I hope it bounces haha.
