At first I wanted to compose something very complex to show
the personality of this, after all she is the final boss of this game.
I tried to give this song a feeling of "duel", since after all its a fighting game....
and I think it demands something suited to that. Besides it really fits with
Scarlet Weather Rhapsody music, even if this is a different game ^^;;;:"---Zun@MusicRoom

So far Sen is one of my favorite characters on the ZUN universe.
Not only because she is without a doubt the best character on the latest Touhou fighting game, but her theme is something out of this world. I really never expected ZUN to carry from the type of music that it was used on Scarlet Weather Rhapsody. It's funny how I have found many people complaining about the music of this game, when I seem to enjoy a lot.

As ZUN told us, this song really gives you this "duel" kind of feeling. A "flamencoish" vibe that was made popular on westerns movies when 2 characters will battle till dead. Now this "meme" seems to be carried over in mostly all visual art out there, and I really enjoyed how well fits given the situation that Sen is found when you battle with her.
However it is sad that only a few people know the way to unlock her. Well, it isn't that they don't know. Pretty much everyone knows how, the problem is that is so difficult to do it, that I don't often found her when I challenge people on Touhou fighting game.

About this new artist, it's a shame this song wasn't included in any arrange album. The song was obtainable via "オキソ酢酸" website, but currently they are re-building it and there is no way to obtain it. However "準二次元" does an incredible job on his first attempt to arrange a Touhou song. Not many can perform with the perfection as he did on the first try, and we are, without a doubt all waiting for his next work, weather he does it on an album or in an independent way.

Sen Gatensoku, a really depth character I enjoyed a lot. Fighting with danmaku and faith is one thing, but building gigantic robots under the Hakurei Shrine in order to replace all Godess in Gensyoko, is indeed an epic plan to succeed.
