Its funny how people judge others and not know anything about them. I would rather have a Christian evangelize and make mistakes then learn from them, then not witness at all like most professing Christians

guys, advice here..plz sit together and regroup what your mission is, purpose is and theological discussions will be about and how to make a solid valid point, untainted by mans simple ideas and logic, its clear he's never known Who the Spirit of Truth is, The Kingdom of God is different from the Kingdom of Heaven. Simply KOG is God with us(Jesus) and IN us (HolySpirit). All things are simple to understand with the HG and a good foundation of the Hebraic roots of Scripture and Jesus teachings

This is living proof of Genesis 6:5, I'm not at all shocked at this young man's point of view. The bible says that " the carnal mind ( the flesh, the unregenerate man) is enmity againts God, it is not subject to the law of God nor can it be" This guy is doing exactly what his heart is able to do. It,s only capacity is to hate God. Unless God regenerates first, there will be no repentance or faith. Making an attempt to convince this man is futile. Just preach the Gospel to him.

@pilgrim4truth Agreed that believing in Jesus means repenting and trusting Him, but it is an intelligent response, based on an enlightened mind that has come to understand the truth about God, sin and Jesus Christ. I totally agree that it is possible to have an enormous amount of orthodox head knowledge without being saved, but it is not possible to be born again with no beliefs about God and Christ whatsoever. The gospel is propositional truth that must be heard, understood and believed.

@M400fan The word believe as applied to believing in Jesus is not talking about believing on an intellectual basis, it is talking about repentance. Intellectual beliefs are worthless, unless they can be useful to the changing of the heart to repent. People get this wrong mostly because it is preached wrongly, usually by the OSAS baptist crowd, who seem to think head knowledge is what saves us.

@pilgrim4truth You can't be born again and not have beliefs! That's nonsense! 1 Jn 5:1 "Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Son of God has been born of God."
