In late July, Duke University's Nicholas School of the Environment went on a fact-finding tour to see first-hand how the Gulf of Mexico looked. What they found was oil and a fair amount of it. In this video, Dr. Curt Richardson, professor of Resource Ecology at Duke and director of the Duke University Wetland Center, takes us to several areas off Louisiana's coast where oil was attacking the important marshlands and he explains what's at stake.
