after the explotion at the end kyo and iori get trhoun away miles away from the arena and kyo gets captured by nest wich is were kof 99 started

you're right KOF `98 um is a masterpiece remaked from another original masterpiece. and kof 02 isn't a bad game. but by history, gameplay and characters, from kof 03 till today, all kof were thrash, specially maximum impact.

and some people knew something about the in 2000

and every one knew in 2001 because they hosted the tournament openly like saying brought to u by the nest cartel lol

but kyo knew about them since he escaped i dont know when but i think it was 2000

@Dhurdle2 yeah the were around hidden since 97 because they wanted to make an army of kyos because of his fire powers

and there is a story of what happens in 98 but it is mostly about SHINGO finding kyo and talking to some of the characters and training with some since due to what happened in 97 the canceled it

thats why SHINGO looks exited when he fights kyo in kof 98

KOF 97 was perhaps the best of the series, the only flaw is the final boss which is too easy.

Ash screwed KOF along with Iori without flames.

Touching the subject of Kyo's and Iori's apparent deaths in this game, I think this game really meant to have the two die in the ending due to the dialogues. Moreover, how is it that Iori surives to having his torso pierced by Kyo?
