"Political and interesting cartoon strip?" Did you read 300 Mark? I think that's a far better description of Watchmen. Incidentally, I love you Mark, but I'm honestly hard pressed to remember anything as annoying as your Zach Snyder impression :p. Dear God :p!

I enjoyed Watchmen and 300 but when the source material is so good why change it because it only ends up detracting from the film. I had high hopes for Sucker Punch and was shocked at how bad it actually was. The best way to sum up the movie is to say it was all fur coat and no knickers. Terrible film.

I'm sorry but for those people that say there was more to this film and most people "don't understand it" are looking too deep for something that's not there. Zack Snyder is not that smart. 300 was dumb because all he focused on was how cool it looked. Watchmen had some substance, but that was because of the groundbreaking graphic novel it was based on not Snyder. This movie has cool visual and that's it. Zack Snyder is actually even more annoying than Kermode portrays him, if you can believe that. If anything, he goes easy on him.
