May Evelyn Waugh haunt the makers of this film. I am reading the book again, for the fifteenth time, and this movie does not even make any pretense of sticking closely to the book. The 1979 series is much, MUCH better

i saw this movie last night.... really didn't like it.... it was long and confusing and incomplete... oh well just my opinion anyhow... :)

how did they get away with turning Brideshead revisited into a melodramatic soap opera. not surprising it was a bit if a flop.
