@Zabuza28 The game was rushed, and SEGA made that mistake to rush through the project to get it out in time for the Holiday Season of 2006. And that's why Nintendo delayed SSBB twice to avoid that mistake. If you don't believe me, watch SSJstarfox's rant on the Sonic series videos.

To be fair, the game had potental...too bad they didn't spend enough time in developing the gameplay to reach that potental.
(p.s.: the ultraspeed segments in Sonic's levels sucks.)
