The CSX Railroad tie replacement crew passed through Rensselaer, Indiana on July 28-9, 2009. Video shows machines removing ties, placing new ties along track, and shoving new ties under the track. It also shows placement of spike plates, driving of spikes, and ballast shaping. There were other steps that were not shown.
