Energy Bolt Shrine and Nachtholm

There are two caves around Nachtholm with secrets I won't collect yet. One is a moon cave, so I can't enter it until a full moon anyway. The other is just quite annoying without the Repel spell.

How were you able to move the boulders in the bridge entering Nachtholm?

The blood fountain I drank from just before increased my strength enough to move those boulders.

Just watching this is making me want to play the series again. How was blood omen 2 btw? I never touched it and I heard some bad things, but since it's the parell world created I am interested.

I think Blood Omen 2 is the weakest in the series, story and gameplay wise. I'm aware that it's supposed to be an alternative storyline, but it still seems out of place. The old cast is out of character; they do a lot of things you just wouldn't expect of them, and the writing is a bit shallow in comparison with the rest of the series. The style and setting are quite different as well. Instead of scenic Nosgoth, you have Meridian, which seems kind of like an industrialized Renaissance.

However, just because it's different doesn't make it a bad game. Actually, I think the gameplay would've been pretty good if it weren't for the incredible amount of glitches. Blood Omen 2 introduced me to LoK, and I quite enjoyed it the first time I played (despite the glitching). I just don't like to think of it as part of the LoK series, as it really doesn't live up. But I still recommend that you try it and form your own opinions. :)

No, that's the Flame Sword. You don't get the Soul Reaver until much later.

I believe the idea is vampires can change into all manner of creature of the night, things ppl was generally affraid of at the time, like bats and wolves and fog.

@Tiff0202 I know this conversation is 3 years old and I do understand your likes and dislikes of the game but the only reason why BloodOmen2 was so different from the others was after the events of SoulReaver2 raziel alterd the past and insted of ending the series there Crystal Dynamics, after winning a battle with Silicon Knights, wanted to give gamers a chance to play as Kain once again in said alternative dimension. I do agree on the fact that they could of done better but the game was good.
